Scottsdale Unified School District (SUSD) athletes must undergo a physical examination – dated after Wednesday, March 1, 2025 – to participate in any Arizona Interscholastic Association (AIA) athletic practices or competitions.

Winter Sports - Start Date is November 3rd.
The Winter Sport Season is right around the corner. For anyone interested in Basketball, Soccer, or Wrestling, please make sure to get your Physical (if you didn't play in the Fall) and complete all paperwork and AIA courses (Brainbook / Opioid / Hazing) by Friday, October 31st to be cleared for Tryouts which will begin on November 3rd.
Please send the head coach an email for specifics on tryouts. Their emails are linked below in each sport of the Winter Sport Season.
National Signing Day
A time honored tradition, that happens 3-4 times each school year, is to hold a ceremony for any student-athlete who is moving onto college in their respective sport. We are honored at DMHS to have many student-athletes participate in the NCAA National Signing Day. At DMHS we will have a National Signing Day ceremonies on each of the "Initial Signing Dates" listed. Please click on the link below.

Please reach out directly to Ms. Cher Fesenmaier and Mrs. Jackie Bedwell a minimum of 2 weeks prior to each of the NCAA Signing Dates so we can make sure to have everything ready to celebrate you and your achievements!

High School students cannot be paid to play. A student entering into an NIL agreement must notify the school within 5 school days.
- Main Field - Photosensitive Lighting
We have new lights on our main athletic field. Please be advised that with each home team score or goal a coordinated music &/or light show will follow. It does contain bright, flashing lights that may cause discomfort and/or seizures for photosensitive viewers.
